Abstract

We have recorded the absorption spectrum of pyrrole at high resolution with a Fourier transform interferometer, from the mid-infrared to the near-infrared ranges. Several bands are observed and tentatively aligned in this work. Most of the bands present resolved clusters of lines that can be rotationally assigned, as already performed for the Δ=1 and 3 N-H stretching vibrations1,2. The results of the rotational analysis will be presented. In addition, the results of experiments performed with a new long-slit jet apparatus coupled to the Fourier transform instrument will be reported, if successful by the time of the meeting.
