Abstract

With an improved $Ar^{+}ion$ laser intracavity set-up many torsional transitions are observed, up to energies near to the torsional barrier. The analysis yields the interaction parameters between both internal rotors of these molecules. For dimthylamine - due to its pyramidal basic structure - new potential parameters, occur, of significant Influence on the (spontaneous) Raman spectrum for this molecule.
