Symbols of the tragedy and comedy masks, along with additional musical instruments and writing implements, appear in a row at his feet. A view from the eastern side of campus is at the bottom, with the text "May 6, 1978" and "The Ohio State University." The woodcut was printed for members of the President's Club, as a gift from OSU's College of the Arts.
