Abstract

The coherent anti-Stokes Raman spectrum of the highly fluorescent molecule tetracene, [FIGURE] has been observed in the rigorous resonance region. The molecule shows considerable saturation effects in the rigorous resonance region and the laser powers used were kept below 10 KW peak power. The observed intensities have been compared to those calculated from theory.
