Abstract

High spectral resolution thermal emission spectra of the Earth's stratosphere have been analyzed to retrieve stratospherc thermal struture and the mixing ratio profiles of several minor constituents in the $NO_{x}$ family. The retrieval techniques include line-by-line spectral calculations with an onion-peeling inversion scheme. The retrieved profiles are compared to other observations and a 1-D photochemical model.
