Abstract

The results of a concentration dependence study of the trap phosphorescence lifetime in dilute mixed crystals of monodeuterobenzene in perdeuterobenzene at 1.8∘K are presented. The existence of an orientational effect on the lifetime is discussed. The results are shown to be consistent with trap-trap triplet energy transfer.
