Abstract

The First Poultry Farm including three buildings is located on the west bank of the Olentangy River east of Building 985 and between the present Olentangy River and the Olentangy River Road. These structures were arbitrarily assigned for indexing purpose: 2000 Olentangy River Road. These structures were never officially named by Board of Trustees action. Building H230 is also known as the Instruction Building, the Poultry Laboratory, the Poultry Building, the Poultry Husbandry Building, the Bee Laboratory, and the Poultry Demonstration House. H 231 is also known as the Poultry Pens, the Laying Pens, and the Chicken House. H 232 is also known as the Brooder House and the Chicken House.
