Abstract
Wexner Center for the Arts is located at 1850 College Rd. Occupies 8.1 acres and wraps around Mershon Auditorium and Weigel Hall. The Board of Trustees officially named the building "The Wexner Center for the Visual Arts" on October 31, 1985 after Leslie H. Wexner, the founder, president, and chairman of the board of the Limited, Inc. as well as chairperson of the OSU Foundation. Alternate names include:
"Visual Arts Center", "Wexner Center for the Visual and Performing Arts", "The Ohio State Center for the Visual Arts" and "Fine Arts and Communication and Graphic Arts Library".
