Abstract

Absolute intensity measurements have been performed at 296 K in the ν4+ν5 band of 12C2H2 in the 7.54 μm region, using a tunable diode laser spectrometer. Experimental conditions were chosen to place the 18 R-branch lines studied in both the Doppler an Voigt profile regimes. Parameters for pressure broadening with N2 and He were derived for several lines. Line intensities for several of the C2H2 "hot band" lines in this spectral region have also been measured.
