Abstract

The rotational spectrum of $CH_{3}C_{3}N$ in its $v_{12}$ state has been measured and analyzed for values of J up to 53, allowing the determination of the Coriolis coupling, 1-type doubling, and sextic centrifugal distortion constants. Previous $work^{1,2}$ on the related species $DC_{3}N$ has been extended to 300 GHz and $J=35$ for several excited bending modes, and a new analysis of these states will be presented.
