Abstract

The single crystal absorption spectrum of vanadylacetylacetone, between $1200-420 m\mu$, has been obtained as a function of temperature. A new band as well as structures on previously known bands have been $resolved^{1}$. Implication of these results and a comparison with the solution spectrum, as well as with the frozen solution spectrum of $vanadylacetylacetone^{2}$, shall be discussed.
