Abstract

The $\upsilon_{1}$ and $\upsilon_{3}$ bands of $PF_{3}$ have been measured using a tunable diode laser operating in the region from $840 cm^{-1}$ to $845 cm^{-1}$. Sub-Doppler laser Stark resonance spectra have also been measured using an intracavity Stark cell and a $^{13}CO_{2}$ laser. The intracavity Stark cell has been constructed at Louvain-La-Neuve and will be described in another paper at this meeting. The $\upsilon_{1}$ and $\upsilon_{3}$ bands interact through the usual Coriolis interaction that couples $A_{1}$ and E vibrational fundamentals of $C_{3V}$ molecules. The spectra and assignments will be described and preliminary band constants will be presented.
