Abstract

Pure quadrupole absorption in paradichlorobenzene has been studied over the temperature range from $25^{\circ}C$ to $55^{\circ}C$, its melting point. These observations have been made using single crystal and powdered samples. Observations on the single crystal are in agreement with its proposed structure. These studies have been made using a super-regenerative oscillator detector and two different types of regenerative detectors.
