It will be shown that the Borkman potential [1] is a particular case of an effective potential which describes internal motions in the soft body model of a molecule [2] - where the Hamiltonia is given by the equation $\backslash [H=\sum n=1fp122\mu 1+U+R22\mu ir2-K22\mu 1r2\backslash ]$ Analysis of eigenvalues obtained from this potential will be presented.
