Abstract

The microwave spectrum of the near prolate-symmetric rotor vinyl fluoride has been examined in the 19−41 km region. Lines comprising the transitions J=0←1 and 1←2 have been observed together with a number of low J Q-type transitions. Measurements have been made of the C12H2C12HF,C12H2C13HF, and C13H2C12HF isotopic frequencies, and are in progress on the less abundant C13H2C13HF molecule. The structure of the molecule and its computation from the isotopic moments will be discussed. Stark data have been measured for several C12H2C12HF transitions of the molecule and the dipole moment computed.
