Abstract

The dynamic work of OARDC in targeting agbioscience growth is paying significant dividends, both for the institution and for the State of Ohio. OARDC is extremely well-positioned to expand its already substantial economic impacts in Ohio. Agbiosciences in the 21st Century BioEconomy will be a central driver of economic progress and technology-based economic development for U.S. States. Because of OARDC and the support of multiple stakeholders across the state, Ohio has moved into an early leadership position in supporting agbioscience R&D as driver for economic development.
