Abstract

The microwave spectra of 2,3-dihydrofuran in the first six vibrational states of the ring bending mode have been observed. Freqencies were assigned for both a- and b-type transitions and the Stark effect was measured for the first four vibrational states. The vibrational energy separations were determined from microwave intensity measurements. The potential function governing the ring bending mode will be discussed.
