Abstract
Microwave transitions of gaseous germacyclopentane have been studied, and rotational constants have been calculated for three isotopic species. Quantitative measurements of the Stark effect of several transitions gives $\mu_{u} = 0.665 \pm 0.007 D$ and $\mu_{e} \leq 0.2 D$. On the basis of unresolved hyperfine structure, the nuclear quadrupole coupling constant of $Ge^{73}$ has been calculated to have an upper limit of $\pm 0.7$ Mc.
