Abstract

The microwave spectra of ethylgermane have been recorded for the Ge76, Ge74, Ge72, and Ge70 isotopes and fit using the rigid rotor approximation. Observation of A-E splittings to the ground and torsionally excited states permitted the calculation of rotational barrier heights of both the methyl and germyl tops with the assumption of no top-top Interactions.
