We have re-examined the high resolution emission bands of the $O2+A2\Pi u-X2\Pi g$ Second Negative System. Particular emphasis will be placed on the determination of the sign of the spin-splitting parameter $A\prime$ in the $A2\Pi u$ state and on the variation of $Av\prime$ as a function of $v\prime$.
