Abstract
We have re-examined the high resolution emission bands of the $O^{+}_{2} A^{2}\Pi_{u}- X^{2}\Pi_{g}$ Second Negative System. Particular emphasis will be placed on the determination of the sign of the spin-splitting parameter $A^{\prime}$ in the $A^{2}\Pi_{u}$ state and on the variation of $A^{\prime}_{v}$ as a function of $v^{\prime}$.
