Knowledge Bank

Positions of a few thousand $CS2$ spectral lines on the Fourier transform and diode laser spectrea by Malathy Devi $etal.1$ have been measured. Numerous $\Delta \nu 3=1$ transitions involving $\mathrm{<mrow\; data-mjx-texclass="ORD">32</mrow>}S,33S,34S,12C$ and $\mathrm{<mrow\; data-mjx-texclass="ORD">13</mrow>}C$ have been identified and assignments made for over 20 bands. Molecular constants have been derived for the identified bends and comparisons of these constants with the previously reported values for nine bands will be made.
