Abstract

The electron spin density distribution for triplet benzophenone in mixed molecular crystals has been determined using double resonance techniques. The nature of the spin interactions and the pathways for intercombinational non-radiative processes can be explored in these systems and compared with the same properties of excitons and traps from neat crystal and isotopically mixed crystal studies. In addition we will present an extension of our optical, EPR, ENDOR and ODMR $studies^{1}$ of benzophenone in dibromodiphenyl ether including a discussion of isotope effects on the spin splittings.
