Abstract

Normal-coordinate analyses (using a modified UBFF) have been carried out for CF3CHO, CFaCFO and CF3COCI, and compared with parallel calculations for the corresponding CHa compounds. The structures, assignments and force-field restrictions used will be discussed, as will the resulting force constants and their chemical implications.
