Abstract
Deuterated isotopomers of organic molecules have been detected in a wide variety of interstellar sources. They are particularly abundant in star-forming regions such as the so-called Hot Core and Compact Ridge sources in the Orion Nebula. Although methyl formate is a source of numerous interstellar lines from star-forming regions, its singly deuterated isotopomers have not been detected in the interstellar medium due to a lack of laboratory data.
