Abstract

Two previously unrecorded articles (not included in Morgan's 1948 Bibliography of Ohio Archaeology) by Warren King Moorehead describe prehistoric remains from the John Boyle Mound, Brown County, Ohio, and the Porter and Janes Mounds, Ross County, Ohio. Two human skulls are illustrated from the Boyle Mound, along with a Buscyon shell dipper. Copper earspools, a drilled bear canine, flake knives and arrow points, shell beads, a biconcave gorget, and a copper bracelet are illustrated from the two Ross County mounds.
