Abstract

Vibration-rotation spectra of the $\nu_{3}$ fundamental band of ${^{16}}O_{3}$ and the five isotopes obtained by substitution of each ${^{16}}O$ atom by ${^{18}}O$ have been recorded using a tunable diode laser system at NASA Langley Research Center. The various isotopic mixtures have been prepared from 99.98\% ${^{16}}O$-enriched and 96.5\% ${^{18}}O$-enriched oxygen samples by electrical discharge. Spectra of nearly pure ${^{16}}O_{3}$, nearly pure ${^{18}}O_{3}$, and mixtures of these isotopes and ${^{16}}O{^{16}}O{^{18}}O, {^{16}}O{^{18}}O{^{16}}O, {^{16}}O{^{18}}O{^{18}}O$, and ${^{18}}O{^{16}}O{^{18}}O$ will be shown. Intensities and air-broadened halfwidths have been derived for selected lines.
