Abstract

The ground states of MoCu, MoAg, MoAu, WCu, WAg, and WAu were determined to be $e ∑$ with zero-field splitting parameters $D >2$ $c m −1$ . Hyperfine splittings and nuclear quadrupole coupling constants (in molecules containing Au) were determined. Bonding and electron spin distribution will be discussed and related to earlier studies of the corresponding Cr $d i a t o m i c s . 1$
