Description

American Chestnut grafted on Hawk Chinese chestnut in spring of 1961 in Plot D-11 in Secrest Arboretum. Inoculated in summer of 1962 with endothia parasitica. To date, this clone has not been killed by the blight. Scale: Dan Haffner, Garett, Indiana. Item #5959
