Abstract
This item is the meeting minutes of the Board of Trustees of The Ohio State University held on August 29 at Arden Shisler Center,
Wooster, Ohio, and August 30 and 31 at the Ohio State University Longaberger Alumni House, Columbus, Ohio. Dean Moser discussed Wooster campus and President E. Gordon Gee gave the President's Report. The committee reports were then discussed. The consent agenda included the following resolutions: Amendments to the Bylaws and Rules and Regulations of the Medical Staff of The Ohio State University Hospitals; Amendments to the Bylaws and Rules and Regulations of the Medical Staff of The Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute; Reappointment of Charter Trustee; Naming of the New Residences Hall; Personnel Actions; Resolutions in Memoriam; Approval of Fiscal Year 2013 Total University Current Funds Budget; Fiscal Year 2013 - Fiscal Year 2017 Capital Investment Program; Approval to Enter Into/Increase Professional Services Contracts and Construction Contracts, and Increase Energy Savings Contract; Authorization for Designated Officials to Buy, Sell, Assign and Transfer Securities, to Deposit or Withdraw Funds from Bank Accounts, and to Designate Depositories; Twenty-year Lease Wexner Medical Center at The Ohio State University Ambulatory Expansion; Approval for the Establishment of a Fee for the New Master of Science in Agricultural and Extension Education -- Distance Learning; Approval to Amend The Ohio State University Alternative Retirement Plan; Approval of the Adoption of The Ohio State University Retirement Continuation Plan II and The Ohio State University Supplemental 415(m) Retirement Plan II; University Foundation Report; North Residential District; Authorization to Enter Into Professional Services Contracts and Construction Contracts, and Approval to Enter Into Professional Services Contacts, and Approval to Enter Into Construction Contracts. The appendices included commencement addresses, honors, processes, budgets, building plans, and maps that were not already present in the minutes.
