Abstract

Production of a variety of loosely bound molecular species is readially acheived by use of a supersonic nozzle. Systems examined include the van der Walls isomers (NO)$_{2}$ and $N_{2} - O_{2}$ and $H_{2}$ - CO (isomeric with formaldehyde). Among the species studied are $(NO)_{n}$ (n = 2, 3, 4), Ar $BF_{3}$, ${(O_{2})}_{2}$ and $(CO_{2})_{2}$ . Electric delfection measurement have determined the polarity of the species. For $(NO)_{2}$ some radio frequency and microwave transitions have been observed.
