Abstract

The microwave spectrum of piperidine exhibits two non-rigid rotor Q-branch satellite series 1400 Mc/sec from the normal lines, and which overlap the normal lines in C5H10ND.1 The microwave spectra of C5D10NH and C5D10ND have been measured. One non-rigid rotor satellite about 70 Mc/sec from the main lines was found for C5D10ND. The possible origin of the anomalous transitions in C5H10NH, in view of the results for the deuterated species, will be discussed.
