The infrared spectrum of $Na2Cr2(CO)10$ and $NaHCr2CO)10$ has been examined from 4000 to $33cm-1$ in several non-aqueous solvents. The spectrum arising from the vibration of the $Na+$ is observed as well as that resulting from the anions. Several different solution-environments are distinguishable. The net force at the alkali ion is found and related to solution structure. The spectrum of the ``free'' anions (i.e. only solvent molecules as near-neighbors) is assigned and comments are made on the nature of the bonding in these species.
