Description

Two unusual pieces of painted burlap cloths which use commercial colors. Fragile. Geometric designs, possibly of Islamic origins. 40"h 36"w. Such burlap is used for coffee bags. Bought in the Port-au-Prince market place, 1947. No ritual use is known.
