Abstract
This speculative interior design project aims to demonstrate the benefits of evidence-based design criteria on an adaptive reuse structure in the Franklinton neighborhood of central Ohio. Through secondary research methods, I plan to study and implement evidence-based criteria that elevate the development and well-being of children ages 0-5, their caretakers, and their families in a daycare setting. To analyze these factors, I will utilize the 14 patterns of biophilia outlined by Terrapin Bright Green.
