Abstract

This is the minutes for the Council on Academic Affairs' meeting on March 4, 2009. Daniel A. Mendelsohn and W. Randy Smith (the Chair and Vice Chair, respectively) gave comments regarding relevant updates and presented the proposals to change the Office of Faculty and TA Development name to the University Center for the Advancement of Teaching, and to create Global Health graduate interdisciplinary specialization. Professor W. Randy Smith also presented the Items from the Office of Academic Affairs which was followed by a general discussion.
