Abstract

The vapor phase infrared spectrum (33cm−1−4000cm−1) and vapor phase Raman spectrum have been obtained for disilazane, (SiH3)2NH and for disilazane-d1. Tentative assignments of the fundamentals are proposed. In addition, the torsional barrier, inversion mode, and degree of planarity of the molecular skeleton are discussed.
