Abstract

Energy levels of over 15 electronic states of $D_{2}$ have been derived from unpublished optical spectra measured by G. H. Dieke. Absolute energies are determined with respect to the ground state by vacuum UV measurements of $Wilkinson.^{1}$ Triplet energy levels are determined with respect to singlets by measurements of anticrossings. The relative accuracy of all excited state energy levels is about $0.1 cm^{-1}$.
