Abstract

The A2Π(020)−X2Σ+(000) band of CaOH has been observed using CW dye laser excitation, and rotationally analyzed. The measured line positions, in combination with data obtained in our laboratory1 for the A2Π(100)−X2Σ+(000) transition, have been employed in a global deperturbation of the A(100)2Π and A(020)κ2Π and μ2Π vibronic states that simultaneously takes account of Fermi resonance, spin-orbit coupling and the Renner-Teller interaction. All the measured line positions are reproduced to within the measurement accuracy of 0.005cm−1.
