Abstract

The infrared spectrum of DNO3 (deuterated nitric acid) was recorded at high resolution (0.0018 cm −1) in the 800 -1400 cm −1 region on the Bruker IFR 120 HR Fourier transform spectrometer of Wuppertal. The analysis of the ν5 A-type band of DNO3 centered at 887.656 cm −1 was performed taking use of the ground state parameters achieved by Drouin et al. . This band is perturbed by several resonances.
