Abstract
The infrared spectrum of DNO$_3$ (deuterated nitric acid) was recorded at high resolution (0.0018 cm $^{-1}$) in the 800 -1400 cm $^{-1}$ region on the Bruker IFR 120 HR Fourier transform spectrometer of Wuppertal. The analysis of the $\nu_5$ A-type band of DNO$_3$ centered at 887.656 cm $^{-1}$ was performed taking use of the ground state parameters achieved by Drouin et al. . This band is perturbed by several resonances.
