Abstract

We have located a nozzle into the sample compartment of a Brucker Fourier transform interferometer IFS120HR and ensured the conditions for a supersonic expansion. Several experiments were attempted in the mid-infrared range. Test spectra of $CO_{2}$ demonstrated a rotational temperature of 13 K. Spectra of NO, $NO_{2}$ and $N_{2}$$O_{4}$ were recorded, demonstrating an important spectral simplification. For the first time, rotational parameters can be derived concerning $N_{2}$$O_{4}$.""
