The microwave spectrum of vinylcyclopropane has been examined in the 8-37 GHz region and several series of near symmetric top a-type transitions have been assigned for the species with the vinyl group trans to the cyclopropane ring. The rotational constants are $A=15225.82$ MHz, $B=3061.42$ MHz, and $C=2941.28$ MHz. From Stark effect measurements of several of the transitions the components of the dipole moment have been found to be $\mu a=0.51D,\mu e=0.04D$, with $\mu b$ assumed zero. The total dipole moment $\mu =0.51D$.
