Abstract

The Tom Peterson Pottery (33CT390) operated along Big Indian Creek at Point Pleasant, Clermont Co., Ohio, from at least 1870 to ca. 1900. In 1984 six distinct plain elbow clay tobacco pipe styles were recovered from the backfill of unauthorized excavations in the waster dump associated with this pottery. Pipe styles from the nearby Bainum and Peterson Clermont Pottery are also described.
