Abstract

A general and convenient method of determining the Coriolis coupling coefficients, $\zeta_{ij}^{\alpha}$, which can be developed parallel to Wilson’s normal coordinate treatment is presented. The properties of the $\zeta$-matrices and the relations among their elements are deduced from their definition and symmetry considerations. Examples are given to illustrate the method.
