Description

Sunny Hill Coal Company. 1955 planting of locust and other hardwoods. Used Lowther tree planting machine. Permanent photo station along road west of highwall, north of New Lexington on State Route 345 to Rehoboth then west and north about three miles. Series of four photos taken in clockwise direction. Best time to take these shots is about 3:00 p.m. Photo taken by O.D. Diller on Sept 16, 1955. Item #5615
