Knowledge Bank

Intensity and line broadening measurements in selected bands of several molecules have been performed for calibration of astronomical plates. These include $CO2(0.87and2.1\mu ),NH3(0.64\mu )$ and $H2$. The results are used for estimation of molecular abundances as well as of planetary pressures and temperatures.
