Abstract

Numerous fundamental and combination bands of six of the isotopic species of ethylene enriched in deuterium and $13_{C}$ have been recorded between 1800 and $6500 cm^{-1}$. These high resolution spectra have been analyzed using an elaborate set of computer programs following Watson’s asymmetric top model. Upper state constants have been obtained, taking into account all the possible Fermi or Coriolis resonances. The great number of ground state combination differences yields accurate asymmetric top ground state parameters for the following molecules: $C_{2}H_{4}, C_{2}H_{3}D, C_{2}H_{2}D_{2}-as, C_{2}D_{4}, H_{2}^{12} C^{13}CH_{2}$ and $^{13}C_{2}H_{4}$.
