This is the minutes for the Council on Academic Affairs' meeting on December 6, 2006. Brian L. Winer and W. Randy Smith (the Chair and Vice Chair, respectively) gave comments regarding relevant updates. Professor W. Randy Smith presented the proposal to establish a minor in Integrative Approached to Health and Wellness. Guests Professor Deborah Larsen and Dr. Maryanna Klatt discussed the proposal with the Council. Professor E. Kay Halasek presented the proposal to revise the major in African American and African Studies. Professor Ike Okafor-Newsum discussed this proposal with the Council. Professor W. Randy Smith led the continued discussion on the Final Report of the Committee on the University-Wide Review of Undergraduate Education.
