Knowledge Bank

New emission spectra of NSc in the region 2840-3180 {\AA} have been observed in a microwave discharge through a mixture of solid selenium and flowing nitrogen gas. Several bands were photographed at high resolution and the rotational structures analyzed. Transitions involving the two new electronic states $\mathrm{<mrow\; data-mjx-texclass="ORD">2</mrow>}\Delta 5/2$ and $\mathrm{<mrow\; data-mjx-texclass="ORD">2</mrow>}\Pi 3/2$ to the ground state $\mathrm{<mrow\; data-mjx-texclass="ORD">2</mrow>}\Pi 3/2$ were found. Rotational and vibrational constants will be presented.
