Spectroscopic constants, dipole moments, and the resulting average structures for six isotopes of Xe-HF have been determined. Spectroscopic constants for the two $\mathrm{<mrow\; data-mjx-texclass="ORD">131</mrow>}Xe$ isotopes are listed: \begin{table}[h] \begin{tabular}{@{}lrcl@{}} &\multicolumn{1}{c}{$B0(MHz)$} &\multicolumn{1}{c}{$D0(KHz)$} &\multicolumn{1}{c}{$eQqa(131Xe)(MHz)$}\ &\multicolumn{1}{c}{\hrulefill} &\multicolumn{1}{c}{\hrulefill} &\multicolumn{1}{c}{\hrulefill}\ $131Xe-HF$ &2035.563(5) &18.2(2) &-8.589(39)\ $131Xe-DF$ &1991.268(3) &15.8(1) &-10.567(27)\ \end{tabular} \end{table} The coupling constants were interpreted using an electrostatic model, and the electric field gradient at the Xe nucleus was found to scale with the field gradient arising from HF(D). A value of $eQq(131Xe)=-14MHz$ was estimated for the linear Xe-H-F equilibrium structure.
