Abstract

The $\nu_{2a}$ vibration-rotation spectrum of $CH_{2}D_{2}$ in the $1435 cm^{-1}$ region has been analyzed. With the distortion parameters fixed to the ground-state values except for $\tau_{yyyy}$ the following constants have been obtained: $\nu_{2a} = 1435.16, A^{\prime\prime} = 4.3017, R^{\prime\prime} = 3.5059, C^{\prime\prime} = 3.0518, A^{\prime} = 4.2663, B^{\prime} = 3.5921$, and $C^{\prime} = 3.1656$ $cm^{-1}$^{\prime}. Anomalous $\tau_{yyyy}$ for the $q_{4}$ state is due to the Coriolis interaction with the $q_{7}$ state at $1234 cm^{-1}$.
